Cristian, Andrei şi Melisa sunt trei fraţi care au ajuns la Casa „Fraţii lui Onisim” cu ajutorul unui tânăr din Timişoara, îngrijorat de soarta micuţilor şi a verişorilor lor. Cei trei copii locuiau împreună cu mama lor într-o localitate din apropierea Timişoarei, într-o sărăcie lucie. De multe ori nu aveau ce să mănânce şi erau neîngrijiţi, fiindcă mama lor era internată deseori în spital. Copiii rămâneau în grija bunicii, însă nici ea nu a avut cum să se ocupe de ei. Atât Cristian, Andrei şi Melisa, cât şi verişorii lor, Maria, Costel şi Claudiu, au fost internaţi în Centrul de primire Urgenţe din Timişoara. De aici au ajuns la Casa „Fraţii lui Onisim”, însă Claudiu care avea doar 1 an şi opt luni a fost dat în grija unui asistent maternal împreună cu frăţiorii lui. Despărţirea de verişorii lui a fost extrem de dureroasă…Pentru ei, Casa „Fraţii lui Onisim” a fost locul în care au simţit protecţia şi dragostea părinţilor. Melisa a fost integrată într-o şcoală şi a reuşit să se adapteze cerinţelor după ce a ajuns la „Onisim”. Andrei a fost integrat şi el într-o instituţie de învăţământ. Mezinul familiei, Cristian, este cu ochii senini, mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze şi care te cucereşte deîndată.
Cristian, Andrei and Melisa are the three siblings that have arrived at the Onesimus Brothers’ Home not long ago, through the care and concern of a young man, who was worried about the three children and their cousins. The little ones were living with their mother in a village not far from Timisoara, in sheer poverty. Very often they had nothing to eat and were left unattended, because their mother spent a great deal of time in the hospital. The children were left in the care of the grandmother, who could only do so much for them. Both the three siblings and their cousins, Maria, Costel and Claudiu were taken to the Child Protection Center in Timisoara and from there, to the Onesimus Brothers’ Home. However, Claudiu, who was only 1 year and 8 months old was entrusted to a family, together with his siblings. Parting with their cousins was painful for Cristian, Andrei and Melisa but the love and protection they found at Onesimus Brothers helped them through the process. We hope that their three cousins can also come live with them in the near future.
